After Duke Football's Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Tony Smith guided us to The Pit Barbecue Durham, North Carolina for some real deal Carolina BBQ, we made our way back to the campus. Duke University. This place is a true gem of American universities. So, we checked out this updated room that looks spectacular with the huge Sorinex rack upgrade that looks great upon the all new PLAE flooring
ASAP~Athletic Strength And Power checked in at the Glazier Clinic-Cincinnati held at The Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza and caught up with Cincinnati Bearcats' Director of Football Sports Performance Brady Collins who was a featured speaker at the event. Coach Collins spoke three sessions: the 1:30pm Neck Training for football, 2:45pm Building a Culture in the Weightroom, and finally the 4:00pm Alternative Training Methods. Folks, this guy is a polished speaker and will no doubt be called upon for many other football and Strength & conditioning clinics. It's easy to see why his name will be surfacing at future clinics…. He has gained coaching experience and guidance from some of the best in the business. Ray Rock Oliver and Ted Lambrinides UK Wildcats, Mickey Marotti Ohio State, Matt Balis & Rick Court Mississippi State have all influenced Brady and his coaching philosophy. Collins has recently kicked off year two at Cincinnati and reports to Head Football Coach Luke Fickell who has the Cincinnati Bearcats pointed on an upward climb!
It's a new era of football for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Coach Luke Fickell and his very experienced staff are in town now and they're beginning to build the foundation that needs to be established for future prosperity. The base is often times the most difficult part of building a structure. But once it's established…. lookout! And that's where Brady Collins enters the picture. He's the guy who Coach Fickell has entrusted to lead his young Bearcats as the Director of Football Sports Performance. Here's a few game pics and Bearcats-in-training videos to show you how Coach Collins and his staff are laying down the groundwork.
For twenty weeks straight, I have been using strictly Laura’s Lean Beef products in all of my red meat category recipes. That’s what’s in my shopping cart. What a difference! The beef, in all the varieties, definitely changes the way you think and feel about beef. My kids and I really like the taste, and it’s reassuring to know that the meats that we eat via Laura’s Lean come from cattle never given antibiotics or growth hormones.
And protein? 21 grams per serving!! Try getting that much protein, and the essential fatty acids that come along with it, at your local GNC store for that price. If it’s between the filet or the whey….. this is a no-brainer! The Laura’s Lean filet mignon can be purchased at the meat counter of many grocery stores. If you’re a steak lover…. this is the way to treat yourself.
It’s also nice to know that the Laura’s lean cattle are raised on a vegetarian diet of natural grasses and grains…never being fed any animal by-products. They also test the feed for pesticides and have strict standards for humane treatment. Also, no additives, fillers or artificial ingredients are used in their beef. So be sure to check out their Laura’s website and her blog for further information on all of their products.
