Ken Mannie is preparing the Michigan State Football squad again. He's starting his eighteenth season at the helm of a strength training and conditioning program that stands out from the pack. He juggles exercise physiology, mental toughness, sports nutrition and "tough love" as he guides these student athletes… aptly referred to as "Spartans"… toward excellence. Couple this rigorous training program with a mission oriented, no-nonsense football approach led by Head Football Coach Mark Dantonio and you're left with a winning program.
In this podcast, conducted in the Duffy Daughtery Football Building in East Lansing, Michigan, Coach Ken Mannie discusses with Ed Cicale of ASAP PODCASTS some of the philosophy that goes into his approach to constructing the total conditioned football player.
